WOW..... where do I start..... first of all, I would like to say how awesome it is to see God working in the lives of so many people. For those of you who know a lot about the ministry we are involved in, you know that our prayer is that every couple who calls each other "esposos" would actually be legally married!!! Well..... God is moving, and that is starting to happen!!! Some have already had their "civil service" and are legally married, but now are having a church ceremony. The first ones we will have the opportunity to celebrate with are Mayra and Mauricio.... I do not think that is a coincidence, as they are like family to us already!!! I am looking for help from anyone who would like to sponsor something for the ceremony..... we cannot do this on our own, and I know that God will touch those who are supposed to help out. Below is a list of items needed to pull this off: (some of these items are not customary for us "gringos")
Lazo (it joins them together)
Pillows (for kneeling in prayer)
Bible
Album
Coins
Cake (I think this is taken)
Knife
Rings (nothing fancy)
boquet
tortilla holders
napkin holders
centerpieces for the tables
and the food..... can't have a wedding without food now can we???!!!!

First Blog
Well, we have finally decided to get a blog up and running. Some people will be glad, others won't care, but regardless...... we are here!!!
A quick update on our Mexico missions:
We have been out of the colonia for the last few days for various reasons...... not the least of which was Andrew and Jacob having some kind of "bug"....:( We should be heading back in tomorrow... we will be so glad to get back over there and see how much rain they had yesterday, and how much mud we get to drive through!!! We had some really rough storms here yesterday morning, complete with tornado warnings and all....
Roy went with Oziel to the men's breakfast in McAllen again yesterday, and then after that went to "Little Mexico" with a pastor to look at some ministry opportunities here on this side of the border.
Andrew had his last regular season game tonight....:( He is hoping to make the All-Stars..... but we will see....
Jacob has another game tomorrow night..... after that.... who knows.... he is supposed to be playing all-stars....
I will try and post some pics tomorrow.... and do a better job of writing.....LOL
Thanks for stopping by..... come back soon!!!!
